Supplier Quality Engineer
Responsibilities: Perform supplier quality assurance functions pertaining to external materials and component suppliers Monitor the following activities and take actions as required: Product management of new product introduction New supplier evaluation/qualification New product introduction through suppliers Supplier quality performance Maintenance of approved supplier list DMR/SCAR/MRB Supplier suspension for non-performance Interface with QA, MPE and Engineering in establishing consistent quality requirements Coordination of MRB activities with suppliers Perform periodic supplier visits Perform initial evaluations of new suppliers, and re-evaluation of existing suppliers Process, report, and track Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) and Supplier Notifications of Change (SNCs)		Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering and 3 years experience in procurement/sourcing for a manufacturing company OR Master's Degree in Business or Engineering and 1 years experience in procurement/sourcing for a manufacturing company Experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to create flow charts Experience in eliminating supplier quality issues within a manufacturing operation as well as implementing effective supplier control processes that meet ISO and corporate standards Demonstrated experience driving the purchased part approval process and managing supplier quality issues as they relate to value streams
Project Leader - Electrical Engineering Department
Responsibilities: Hands-on technical lead of projects from concept through production launch. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to successfully manage multiple projects with competing priorities and milestones. Establish objectives & milestones to keep projects focused and manageable Organize & lead the work of the team(s), delegate assignments, provide guidance to achieve project objectives in accordance with established timelines, objectives and policies. On a project level, manage & closely communicate with technical resources from other departments, e.g., test, mechanical, software & manufacturing process engineering, materials, production & CAD. On a project level, supervise, direct and mentor Jr. Design and Test Engineers. Manage rigorous documentation during the design effort including design documentation, qualification test and validation reports, supporting analysis in accordance with the company.s quality standards. Lead and participate in design review meetings. Provide technical support to customers. Prepare and present project(s) status to Senior Management Accountable to Senior Management for project deliverables, including performance, scheduling, budgeting & costs.		Qualifications: MSEE preferred, BSEE with minimum of 7 years of strong project leadership experience in the same or similar industry. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume of projects in a tight deadline environment. Demonstrated experience in developing and launching to production, RF Microwave discrete components, sub-assemblies and sub-systems. Hands-on design experience including bench level testing of sub-systems to systems. A technical decision-maker. Regard for quality and customer service are top priorities. Strong knowledge & skills in design documentation, test and measurement. Ability to discern key milestones in projects, establish goals on achieving them and plan ahead over a one to two year time span. Strong problem analysis and resolution skills at both a strategic & functional level. Applications Engineer - Technical Customer Sales Support
Responsibilities: Review data and spec sheets from customer and from our internal product spec sheets. Download technical data from our "Yoni" database, review and understand the characteristics on our devices. Make recommendations on modifying the data sheets by adding or clarifying specs Respond to customers' technical questions in a careful & scrupulous manner Comprehend & have dialogue with our customers, including questions, regarding their applications and needs Have a thorough understanding and "wide view" of customer needs and develop in depth knowledge of Mini-Circuits capabilities to meet those needs for timely, cost-effective solutions on the first try. Senior Microwave Design Engineer
Responsibilities: Design and develop RF & Microwave circuits, components and sub-assemblies based on customer objectives and requirements. Modify existing designs to improve performance, quality, manufacturability, production yields, etc. Develop performance criteria such as stability, bandwidth, noise, parasitic effects, impedances, hi-frequency behavior, filters, transformations, signals and amplifier designs. Perform circuit & component analysis and simulations using industry ADS, HFSS and other CAD tools. Verify and validate designs through simulations, tests and reliability studies. Prepare layouts, block diagrams & schematics in collaboration with related engineering design teams. Serve as technical support to Production & Marketing departments on new and existing designs. Prepare application notes, technical articles & catalog specs for publication Evaluate new components, materials & suppliers. Junior Microwave Design Engineer
Responsibilities: Design IF/RF & Microwave components and sub-systems based on marketing inputs under senior engineer supervision. Organize engineering design projects by identifying short-term and long-range issues; preparing schedules, cost estimates, and required resources. Develop RF engineering design plans by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying RF engineering techniques and criteria involving circuit design requirements. Capable of using design tools such as ADS. Perform tolerance, and worst-case analysis, debugging circuits and systems, identifying, isolating, and resolving performance problems. Verifi es and validates design by building and testing prototypes. Prepare engineering design reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing engineering design data. QA Engineer
Responsibilities: Provide quality assurance support (review & analyze data, conduct experiments, provide disposition) on problems in manufacturing and test areas. Determine root cause, evaluate and implement preventive & corrective actions for quality problems. Review & approve Electronic Change Notices (ECNs), as required. Follow-up on ECNs after completion, to verify implementation & effectiveness. Review trend analysis to provide solution to quality problems in order to eliminate reoccurrence. Evaluate need for inspection points in manufacturing process flow and write inspection procedures. Provide input in the creation and application of statistical technique procedures. Write reports. Represent quality assurance in design review of new and redesigned products as required. Distill highly technical content down to convincing & credible sales material. Write as a tech-savvy storyteller and create language that informs and persuades. Write language that captures & promotes the Mini-Circuits "experience" to its customers and makes us unique from the competition. For example, our quality, performance versatility, price/value & customization of our product(s). On-time delivery, creative problem-solving & technical customer support. Write advertising copy & special promotions in trade magazines, mailers and on our website that is clear, persuasive & original. Write press releases and contact appropriate media for distribution. Revise language based on feedback from the President of our company. Work on and be accountable for multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines. Follow advertising trends and techniques. A considerable degree of creativity and latitude is expected with support from our President. Proofread and edit all copy.
