Mini-Circuits Receives Preferred Supplier Award From Harris RF Communications
Brooklyn, New York – On December 7, 2007, the Harris RF Communications Division honored Mini-Circuits as a 2007 Preferred Supplier. The award was presented to Mini-Circuits: “In recognition of outstanding supplier performance providing Harris RF Communication Division with superior quality materials and services delivered [on] schedule, and at best value.”
The award was accepted by Steven Scheinkopf, Mini-Circuits Worldwide Technical Marketing Manager, who attended the Supplier Conference and Awards held in Rochester, New York. Scheinkopf explained that the Brooklyn-based Mini-Circuits was the only component supplier of the three suppliers to receive the award this year, although Harris RF deals with about 350 suppliers.
Harris RFCD developed the Preferred Supplier awards program to recognize the critical role that the company’s suppliers play in the delivery of tactical radio communications products that Harris produces for U.S. and international customers. This was the second consecutive year that Mini-Circuits was chosen as a recipient.
“These suppliers provided products deemed essential to Harris RFCD business success,” according to an article about the 2007 award winners that appears on the company website. “They excelled at meeting and exceeding high expectations and tough performance goals to distinguish themselves from the hundreds of suppliers that work with Harris RFCD.”
