Mini-Circuits Applauds Animation and Web Design in Penang

August 17, 2011 — Student teams from SMJK Chung Ling Butterworth and SMK (L) Methodist were recently named winners of the Animation and Web Design Competition in Penang, Malaysia. The awards ceremony was organized by INTI International College Penang with the generous sponsorship of Dato' Seri Kelvin Kiew, President and CEO of Mini-Circuits Technologies Malaysia and leader of the Mentoring Young Scientific Entrepreneurs pillar of the Penang Science Council.

The theme of the competition, "Go Green", drew a strong turnout from Penang area students, who also enjoyed face-to-face contact with established web entrepreneurs. As noted by Dato' Seri Kiew, "this contest will help to prepare students by exposing them to job demands while enhancing their skills and competency in computing." Mini-Circuits is proud to help the leaders of today inspire the leaders of tomorrow, on Malaysia's own Silicon Island.
